Roberta Arantes has practiced intellectual properly law since 2001 and joined Daniel as a partner in 2013, where she became the head of the trademark teams in 2021. Roberta understands that business issues require creative and cost-effective legal solutions and her interest in innovation led her to use agile legal project management techniques in her daily practice.
She has experience in intellectual property litigation and counseling, including trademark, design, trade secret, false advertising and unfair competition matters. In addition to her litigation and dispute practice, she has extensive experience in trademark counseling and both judicial and non-judicial enforcement and defense.
She has counseled clients by providing search advice and protectability opinions regarding domestic and global trademark availability and on famous marks.
She is an active member of INTA’s Trademark Offices Practice Committee. She is a member of Brazilian IP Agents Association-ABAPI, where she is a member of the Counsel and lecturer of the various professional courses promoted by this Association. She also coordinates the International Committee of the Brazilian IP Association (ABPI).
