She was born in Rio de Janeiro, graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and was admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association. Nellie specialized in trademarks and has been responsible for overseeing the care of formalities in complying with deadlines and official actions with the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO).
