Luis Maciel has been involved in the field of Intellectual Property (IP) since 2015. With a solid technical foundation acquired from prestigious universities in Australia and Brazil, he currently serves as an account consultant and patent specialist. Throughout his career, Luis has gained extensive experience in all aspects of patent application prosecution and litigation, both domestically and internationally. He has worked in various countries such as Australia, Japan, and Germany, contributing to his vast overseas experience. Currently based in Düsseldorf, Germany, Luis is readily available to assist our international clients.
In addition to his proficiency in his native Portuguese, Luis is also fluent in English and German, facilitating effective communication with clients from different linguistic backgrounds.
Luis Maciel's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), an exchange program at Monash University (Australia), and several specialized courses in industrial property conducted in Brazil, Japan, and Germany.
