Isabella has been working with Intellectual Property since 1998 and became a partner of Daniel Law in 2005. Isabella’s experience covers all aspects of intellectual property with special emphasis on trademarks. Isabella manages many large portfolios in various market segments such as the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, publications and clothing. She has great experience in seminars and training sections in Brazil, the United States and Europe with information on the Brazilian market and IP related matters.
Highlights: supervision of trademark department; legal consultancy related to trademarks, as well as the portfolio management of international clients; handling judicial and extra-judicial cases related to trademark rights violations and crimes of unfair competition; due diligence related to trademark issues, including analysis of registerability of marks and planning of corporate strategies related to intellectual property; active performance in the interests of national and international clients before the BPTO, with the preparation of oppositions, administrative nullity procedures, appeals and replies.
For the biennium 2020/2021, Isabella takes a leadership role in the Communications Subcommittee of the Leadership Development Committee at the International Trademark Association – INTA. She will be responsible for co-leading the LINK project team.
