Denis Daniel is a Founding Partner of Daniel & Cia., currently Daniel Law, and has worked in Intellectual Property for more than 50 years. His practice and experience covers all areas of IP and he has established a solid reputation on the Brazilian and international markets over the years. Denis was born in Rio de Janeiro, graduated in Law from the Fluminense Federal University and was admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association in 1959.
He has also been a member of the Institute of Brazilian Attorneys (IAB), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the Licensing Executives Society (LES), the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI), the International League of Competition Law (LIDC), the Brazilian Industrial Property Agents Association (ABAPI), the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI) and the São Paulo Intellectual Property Association (ASPI). In addition, he was chairman of the legal committee of the British Chamber in Rio for seven years and received the title of honorary councilor of the association. Denis is the author of over 50 articles on industrial property, transfer of technology and copyright.
