Ricardo is a partner at the complex litigation department, and is licensed to practice in Brazil and in the State of New York.  Ricardo has been working for more than a decade with high-stakes litigation, with particular emphasis on complex patent and regulatory disputes, and has experience with different technological fields, including chemical, pharmaceutical and biotech, as well as telecom, software, electronics, oil & gas and mechanical.

Master’s degree in Regulatory Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV. Awarded with a merit-based tuition scholarship. Dissertation on Law & Economics published by the Business Law Review.

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the State University of Rio de Janeiro - UERJ. Awarded with the “Introduction to Science Prize” for the paper “Second medical use patents”. Received a merit-based scholarship to research Intellectual Property Law. Dissertation on the European patent system approved with highest grade and statement of praise, and published in the University’s Biannual Corporate Law Review.
