Juliana is a partner in Daniel Law's Technology, Privacy, & Data Protection consulting area, with a practice focused on advising clients on the intersection of law, technology, and business, regarding privacy, data protection and evolving technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI). She is currently a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and holds a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification. She obtained an LL.M. in International Technology Law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, graduating cum laude, and served as a research associate at the same university. In addition, she holds postgraduate degrees in Business Law and Civil Procedure Law from FGVLaw-SP and Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie-SP, respectively, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie-SP. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for a multinational corporation and Brazilian law firms for more than 10 years in the field of Business Law - advisory and strategic litigation. In 2020, she began incorporating Technology, Privacy & Data Protection and is now exclusively dedicated to this area.
