Isabella is an Intellectual Property expert with international experience, especially in Germany. She has recently concluded her LL.M. in Intellectual Property & Competition Law at Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC), with focus in Trademark Law, addressing it from the European and Brazilian angles. Strategic enforcement measures and trademark portfolio management are one of her main areas of expertise.

Her academic and professional experiences in Brazil and in Germany in different points in time provided her multicultural analytic and dynamic thinking skills she trusts are valuable tools when addressing different legal issues in the never-settling world of IP.

Isabella has been working with IP since 2013 and is a member of the office since 2016, where her focus is on the trademark portfolio management of national and international clients. At the firm, her main goal is, among others, to secure a complete assistance to our clientele, addressing all phases and complexities that precede and succeed the right to a trademark in Brazil, and its various forms of exploration.

Isabella is currently based in São Paulo and is a registered attorney with the Brazilian Bar Association and part of several professional associations such as the International Trademark Association (INTA); the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA) and the Deutsch-Brasilianische Juristenvereinigung E.V. (DBJV).

Awarded a partial scholarship from the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition to attend the 2020/2021 LL.M. program “Intellectual Property and Competition Law” of Munich Intellectual Property Law Center in Munich, Germany (June 2020).
